"من الكرك جيت والقصيد عتادي"
Growing up within a Bedouin community, Yazan was drawn to the desert’s timeless rhythms, but it wasn’t until he touched his first MIDI controller that he found a new way to express these sounds.
His debut releases, Sareh and the album Sharq Ettabbana (English for “East of the Milky Way”), gave life to his musical vision initially through hypnotic live looping, culminating in a signature psychedelic electro-rock sound. His latest album, IRTH-TRONIC, builds on his roots, introducing microtonal textures inspired by Arabic Maqamat, Nabatean poetic lyrics, and melodic techno.
Yazan's music dives into the core of identity and heritage, drawing listeners into the stories of historic landmarks and figures that shaped his broader region. It is a statement of belonging, a call to embrace and celebrate native traditions and culture, while navigating the ever-present pull of modernity. Yazan aims to be part of a larger movement that reclaims cultural identity and heritage, presenting it through the perspective of the land's native people, free from self-orientalizing distortions or biases.
Explore Yazan’s latest album, IRTH-TRONIC.

My live performances are where IRTH-TRONIC comes to life. I treat each set as a ritual, where voice and live instrumentation meet MIDI control, analogue synthesis and electronic production to unfold the story of the album. The music is never exactly repeated; it emerges, transforms, and eventually returns to silence.
My work explores identity, memory, and belonging, reclaiming cultural narratives authentically. I bridge heritage and futurism to create experiences that are both rooted and immediate.
